Rollup ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application ("App").
INFORMATION WE ACCESS
Photo Library Access
Rollup requests access to your photo library to:
- Create personalized Rollups (daily, monthly, and yearly photo recaps)
- Organize and manage your photos
- Display statistics about your photo collection
- Generate shareable content from your photos
Important: All photo processing happens entirely on your device. We never upload, store, or transmit your photos to any external servers.
Device Information
When you contact us for support, we may collect:
- Device model and iOS version
- App version and build number
- Photo library authorization status
- System resources information
This information is only collected when you explicitly send us feedback or support requests via email.
Crash Reports
To help us improve the app and fix bugs, we automatically collect crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics. This includes:
- Crash logs and stack traces
- Device model and iOS version
- App version and build number
- Timestamp of the crash
- Custom crash keys (non-personal identifiers)
Important: Crash reports do not include your photos, personal information, or any content from your photo library. They only contain technical information needed to diagnose and fix app crashes.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
On-Device Processing
- Photo Analysis: We analyze your photos locally to generate statistics, identify duplicates, and create Rollups
- Photo Organization: When you use the organize feature, decisions are made entirely on your device
- Content Generation: Shareable images and Rollups are created on your device
Support and Feedback
If you contact us via email:
- We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry
- Debug logs may be included in support emails to help diagnose issues
- This information is sent directly to our support email (contact@cardinallabs.ca) and is not shared with third parties
Crash Reporting
- We use crash reports collected by Firebase Crashlytics to:
- Identify and fix app bugs and crashes
- Improve app stability and performance
- Understand technical issues affecting users
- Crash reports are automatically collected when the app crashes
- No user action is required, and crash reports do not interrupt your app usage
DATA STORAGE
Local Storage
- All photos remain in your device's photo library
- App preferences and settings are stored locally on your device
- Debug logs are stored locally and only sent when you explicitly share them
Cloud Storage
- Crash Reports: Technical crash reports are stored on Firebase servers (Google's infrastructure)
- Photos: We do not upload your photos or personal content to any servers
- Processing: All photo processing and analysis occurs entirely on your device
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Apple Services
- StoreKit: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information
- iOS Share Sheet: When you share content, you choose the destination through iOS's native sharing interface
- Local Notifications: Notification scheduling is handled by iOS and stored locally on your device
Firebase Crashlytics
- Crash Reporting: We use Google's Firebase Crashlytics service to collect crash reports and improve app stability
- Crash reports are sent to Firebase's servers and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy
- Crash reports contain only technical information (device model, OS version, crash logs) and do not include your photos or personal content

Crash Reporting Only
- We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnose app issues
- We do not use behavioral analytics or user tracking services

YOUR RIGHTS
Photo Library Access
- You can revoke photo library access at any time through iOS Settings
- Revoking access will limit app functionality but will not affect photos already in your library
Data Deletion
- Crash reports stored on Firebase servers are retained according to Firebase's data retention policies
- To remove local app data, you can delete the app from your device
- Your photos remain in your photo library and are not affected by app deletion

Subscription Management
- Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store
- You can cancel subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID settings
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Rollup is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App Store listing
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy

By using Rollup, you consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
SUMMARY
Rollup processes your photos entirely on your device. We don't upload your photos or personal content. We only collect technical crash reports to improve app stability. We don't track your behavior or share your data with third parties (except crash reports to Firebase for bug fixing). Your privacy is our priority.
